Henry BJJ- Team RMNU Brings Home Pan Jiu Jitsu Championship Bronze Medal
Owner and Head Instructor, Bill Henry traveled to Irvine, California the weekend of March 29th thru April 1st to compete in the IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu Championship. With over 3250 competitors, the Pans is the biggest BJJ competition in the world. Bill fought in the Senior 1 Purple Belt Lightweight division, and brought home a bronze medal. There were 20 competitors in the division, and Bill had three matches. He won his first 2, and lost in the semi-finals on points to the Marc Emmons of BJJ Revolution team, who went on to win the gold. The runner up in the divison went on to win the Open Weight division, so needless to say the Lightweight divsion was stacked. Bill was happy with his performance, but knows there is plenty of room to improve.
